Main Tasks:

Mixing and serving cocktails in a professional way, in compliance with international given standards and Scylla/Edelweissgastro standards

Joint responsibility for the active sale of drinks in the Lounge/Bar/Restaurant/Sun deck

Service in the Lounge/Bar/Restaurant and on the sundeck

Joint responsibility for the coffee station in Lido Bar/Bistro/Arthur’s
-
Joint responsibility for the professional serving and presentation of the entire F&B offer on board according to Scylla/Edelweissgastro standards
-
Joint responsibility for guest satisfaction and the corresponding ratings
-
Joint responsibility for cleanliness, order and compliance with the Scylla/Edelweissgastro hygienic concept according to HACCP in the bar area as well as regular general cleaning
-
Joint responsibility for dealing carefully with beverages, equipment, machines and cleaning agents
-
Help create and implement F&B activities and events on board
-
Joint responsibility for the separation of waste in the bar areas

Active assistance in the restaurant as well as on the sundeck
-
Preparation of inventories and orders for the restaurant and bar

Fair and equal treatment towards all crew
-
Joint responsibility for the compliance with safety guidelines in the entire bar area

Knowledge of the ship and the respective daily program

Professional and friendly guest service according to Scylla/Edelweissgastro standard
Qualification Profile:

Organizational and communication skills
-
Guest focused, stress resistant, calm under pressure, team player and with positive appearance
-
Open minded and flexible with high social and inter-cultural competencies
-
Excellent English skills (written & verbal), other languages are an advantage
-
Must work independently, good computer skills
Additional tasks for all crew members:

Assistance with the welcome of guests on the day of embarkation

Participation in the crew show

Assistance with the loading of goods and suitcases

Keep crew mess and your own crew cabin clean

Thorough execution of the safety role on board

Your purpose is to help and create a memorable experience for our guests
General information:
-
Working hours: during the normal operation on board, the crew member will work 7 days a week and app. 70hrs

Accommodation: shared room on board with one other crewmember (on some ships with more than one)
-
Uniform: is provided by the company: before arrival the crewmember has to make sure to take black trousers, white shirts, black shoes with him in case the uniform isn’t on board yet
